About Us
We’re Aubrey & Ginnie, and we started this journey to document our travels—not for the algorithm, but for us. Every trip left us with incredible moments, but we’d come home and realize: we were already forgetting the details. So we created CYAVAYA — our way of keeping those memories alive.
CYAVAYA (pronounced CEE-yah-VAYA) is a playful twist on “Siya Vaya”, Zulu for “on the go.” It’s our reminder to stay curious, stay moving, and see the beauty in wherever we are.
This channel is our visual journal—a collection of cinematic stories, street-level moments, and slow-travel reflections. We’re capturing cities, light, laughter, and the feeling of being somewhere for the first time.
If you're into thoughtful visuals, city stories, and honest travel—you’re in the right place. Come along. We’re just getting started. We’re Aubrey and Ginnie, the duo behind CYAVAYA — a visual journal of our travels, moments, and memories.
CYAVAYA (pronounced CEE-yah-VAYA) is a playful take on the Zulu phrase “Siya Vaya,” meaning “on the go.” It captures the spirit of movement — not just through cities and countries, but through life, light, and perspective.
We started this journey because we realized how quickly the details of a trip fade. The smell of a street corner café, the way the light hit a building at golden hour, the unexpected conversations — all those little things were slipping away. So we picked up a camera and decided to start documenting them, not for the likes or views, but to hold onto the moments that matter.
CYAVAYA is our way of remembering. It's a place where travel meets storytelling, where street scenes become cinematic, and where our love for exploring turns into something we can share — with each other, and with you.
Whether you're here for inspiration, a breath of visual calm, or a reminder to slow down and pay attention — welcome.
We’re glad you’re here. Let’s keep going.
